Hemming multi-layered wedding dress with horsehair braid

This beautiful wedding gown was about 7 inches too long for the bride, and she wanted the train reduced to be more in proportion with the scalel. The skirt had 7 total layers, including the crinoline-type underskirts and lining, so the hemming was prertty involved. The outer layer also was constructedf with horsehair braid to help it stay fuller, and this had to be removed and reattached. Turned out lovely!
